Owner Sam Vavasis has been selling nuts, spices and dried fruits at the Market for over 36 years and decided after numerous customer requests to expand his spice offering. Recently opened in October 2011, Sam's 'spice'bar offers a selection of spice blends and rubs for an authentic marinade. Spices are also availalbe by the tub and there is also a large selection of Sella and Basmati rices, Olive Oils, olives, Fetta cheese and Greek style youghurt by the tub. "India Gate" aged Basmati rice is a top seller,offering a superior long grain rice that is guaranteed to produce a larger quantity of cooked rice per cup. If you are having a party, you can't go past the frozen food section offering delicious treats such as Gozleme, Samosas and Spring rolls.
